Emma Ellsworth is a dedicated professional with experience in education, community outreach, and environmental conservation. Currently serving as a Park Ranger with the National Park Service since April 2024, Emma previously worked as an elementary school teacher with Teach For America from May 2022 to February 2024. Emma held leadership roles within the University Democrats at the University of Virginia and contributed to archival work at the University of Virginia School of Law. As Community Outreach Chair for Alternative Spring Break at UVA, Emma engaged in impactful service while also leading youth activities as an Aquatics Supervisor at the University of Virginia. Emma’s early experiences include mentoring at-risk youth through high-adventure programs and lifeguarding roles at multiple organizations, showcasing a commitment to youth development and outdoor education. Emma earned a degree from the University of Virginia, completing studies in 2022 after attending Westmont Hilltop High School and Bishop McCort High School.
