Patrick Kenney

Retired Superintendent at National Park Service

Patrick Kenney is a seasoned professional with a long-standing career at the National Park Service, beginning in October 1990 and culminating in the role of Retired Superintendent. Kenney has held significant positions including Superintendent of Shenandoah National Park and Cape Lookout National Seashore, as well as Deputy Superintendent at Yellowstone National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve. Prior contributions also included serving as Planning Branch Chief at the Denver Service Center and Project Manager there. Before joining the National Park Service, Kenney worked as an Environmental Specialist for the State of Florida from July 1988 to October 1990. Educational qualifications include a BS in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and leadership training from the Federal Executive Institute in 2019.
