Volunteer Interpretive Ranger at National Park Service

Richard Champney, PMP, has a diverse background in program and engineering management across various industries, including automotive, technology, and environmental solutions. Currently serving as a Volunteer Interpretive Ranger for the National Park Service since August 2022, Richard has also held significant positions with FLIR Systems as a Program Manager, overseeing infrared lens development, and with Veoneer as a Program Manager, facilitating the production of automotive radar systems. Prior roles include a Senior Program Manager at Columbia Tech, an Engineering Manager at Evoqua Water Technologies, and program management positions at Qualcomm, Reveal Imaging, and Goodrich Corporation. Richard holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
