Terry E. Brown is an accomplished manager currently serving in the National Park Service since October 2023. Prior to this role, Terry held the position of Director of Federal Partnerships at the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission Staff from March 2020 to October 2023, focusing on programs for the nation's 250th anniversary. Terry served as a Commissioner on the 400 Years of African American History Commission from November 2018 to January 2021, contributing to the commemoration of the arrival of the first enslaved Africans in the English colonies. Earlier experience includes serving as Superintendent of Fort Monroe National Monument, Site Manager at the Boston African American National Historic Site, and holding key roles in visitor experience and interpretation within the National Parks of Boston. Terry graduated from Grambling State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 1992.
