Arul Kumar

Arul Kumar currently serves as Associate Vice President at the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) since November 2016, focusing on UPI product technology. Prior to NPCI, Arul held the position of Manager at Capgemini from August 2009 to August 2016, where responsibilities included leading the GW PAS program for AMFAM and managing policy modernization initiatives. Earlier experience includes a managerial role at Element K between March 2004 and July 2009, where Arul oversaw the development of the Knowledge Hub TM product and established an offshore team. From November 2001 to March 2004, Arul worked as a Team Leader at Pinnacle Systems India Pvt Ltd, architecting a Re-Offering Management System for Lehman Brothers. The career began as a Senior Software Engineer at Sacs Information System from July 1999 to October 2001, designing applications using various technologies. Arul holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, completed in 1994.
