Dan Baker has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Dan is the President & CEO of the National Peace Corps Association since January 2023, previously serving as Interim President & CEO. Dan also held the position of Director, Programs & Business Development in the same organization. Prior to this, they worked as the Global Reentry Program Director from April 2020 to April 2022. Before joining the National Peace Corps Association, Dan worked as a Philanthropy Officer at the North Carolina Outward Bound School from August 2019 to April 2020. Dan was also a Project Director & Senior Technical Advisor for Youth at IREX from July 2017 to August 2019. Earlier in their career, they had various roles at the Peace Corps, including Expert Consultant, Senior Advisor for Programming, Training and Evaluation, Director of Programming and Training, Overseas Staff Training Facilitator, Country Desk Officer, and Associate Peace Corps Director for Youth Program. Dan started their career as a Peace Corps Volunteer serving as a Coordinator/Leader and later held positions as a Country Desk Assistant and Safety and Security Desk Officer.
Dan Baker obtained a Bachelor's degree in History from Davidson College, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
