Cindy Omari has extensive experience in risk management and human resources within the petroleum industry. Currently serving as the Head of Business Risk at the National Petroleum Authority since November 2019, Cindy is responsible for developing strategies to manage risks in the Petroleum Downstream Industry. Prior roles at the Authority include Monitoring and Evaluation Manager and Board Secretariat Manager, where responsibilities encompassed strategic reporting and governance facilitation. Additionally, Cindy has contributed as a Human Resources Consultant since January 2018 and held various positions at the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and the Ministry of Energy, demonstrating a strong background in human capital management and executive support. Cindy holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Studies and Linguistics from the University of Ghana.

The Objects & Functions of the NPA are: To monitor and regulate petroleum prices in accordance with the prescribed pricing formula, grant licenses to service providers and marketing companies, protect Consumers interests and maintain the highest standards of petroleum products offered to them.
