Erin Vermilye serves as the Senior Director of Strategy & Engagement at the National Policing Institute, where responsibilities include developing strategic initiatives that enhance organizational growth and promote evidence-based practices in policing policy. Previously, Erin held the position of Senior Director at Axon, focusing on aligning the company's goals with law enforcement partners and advancing engagement strategies. With a significant tenure at the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Erin progressed through various roles, including Director, Assistant Director of Advocacy, and Senior Conference Manager, overseeing key organizational functions and major events. Early career experience includes work as a Paralegal/Program Associate at the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence and as a Paralegal at Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP. Erin holds a BS in Justice and Policy Studies from Guilford College.
