Emily Krause has a diverse work experience in nutrition and health and wellness. Emily currently holds the position of Director of Nutrition, Health, and Wellness Initiatives at the National Pork Board. Prior to this, they worked at Coborn's, Inc. for seven years, where they served as the Health and Wellness Manager and was responsible for leading and managing the company's Registered Dietitian team and nutrition shelf-tag program. Emily Krause (Parent), MFCS, RD, LD, FAND has a solid education background in the field of Dietetics. Emily obtained a Master's Degree in Dietetics from Iowa State University from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics at the University of Wisconsin-Stout from 2011 to 2015. Emily also gained valuable experience through a Study Abroad program in Human Nutrition at the University of Canberra, starting in 2013.
In addition to their educational achievements, Emily has obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. Emily earned certification in Adult First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in January 2014. In December 2012, they achieved certification as a Certified Peer Health Educator from The BACCHUS Network™ and completed the ServSafe program offered by the National Restaurant Association.
