Katlyn Cain

Katlyn Cain has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Katlyn is currently working as a Project Manager at the National Pork Board since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Account Manager at Tonisity from 2017 to 2022. Katlyn also gained experience as a Customer Service Representative at PigCHAMP in 2017. In 2016, they worked as a Customer Service Intern at Merck, where they assisted with inventory management and shipments. Katlyn also served as a Communications Intern at the National Pork Producers Council during the summer of 2016, where they focused on improving their communication skills. Before that, they held roles at Harrisvaccines as a Webmaster Associate and Sales and Marketing Intern from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2014 to 2015 and as a Sales Associate at Western Edge Western Store from 2013 to 2014. Katlyn began their working career as a Greeter at Strautman's Tree Farm from 2009 to 2012 and later worked as a Farmyard Worker at Center Grove Orchard from 2011 to 2012.

Katlyn Cain completed their Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Ballard High School from 1999 to 2013, where they obtained their high school diploma. In addition to their academic achievements, Katlyn also received certifications in Pork Quality Assurance from the National Pork Board in June 2014 and in Beef Quality Assurance from the Beef Checkoff in March 2015.
