Kevin Sheehan

Kevin Sheehan has a wide range of work experience in the meat and poultry industry. Kevin is currently working as the Director of Processor Engagement at the National Pork Board since February 2020. In November 2022, they also became a member of the Board of Directors at the FOUNDATION FOR MEAT AND POULTRY RESEARCH AND EDUCATION.

Additionally, Kevin is involved in coaching and holds the position of an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) at the International Coaching Federation. Kevin has also obtained certification as a Professional Coach.

Before their current roles, Kevin Sheehan spent a significant portion of their career at Cargill where they held several leadership positions. This includes being the Director of Business Development for Cargill Animal Nutrition, Health Technology, where they led market access activities and business development for the Diamond V poultry team. Kevin also worked as the Vice President of Cargill Pork Livestock Procurement, leading a team of 30 professionals and overseeing $1.28 billion in annual purchases.

Kevin also served as the Vice President and Business Manager of Cargill Turkey Division, responsible for the profitability and pricing of a $720 million retail meat business. Additionally, they held various sales and managerial roles within Cargill, including serving as the Sales Manager for the Wal Mart and Sams Team, Divisional Sales Manager for Cargill Turkey, and Commodity Sales Manager for Cargill Chicken and Turkey Divisions.

Prior to their tenure at Cargill, Kevin Sheehan worked as the National Sales Manager at Schaper Company, where they developed and managed a sales team, primarily selling to retail grocery accounts.

Through their extensive experience, Kevin Sheehan has developed expertise in business development, sales, procurement, and leadership within the meat and poultry industry.

Kevin Sheehan attended Rockhurst High School from 1978 to 1981. Kevin then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Kansas State University, graduating in 1985. In 2021, Kevin attended iPEC Coaching, where they studied Business Coaching. Kevin also pursued a specialization in Leadership Coaching through the ELI-MP (Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner) program at iPEC Coaching from 2021 to 2022. In terms of additional certifications, Kevin obtained the Certified Professional Coach (CPC) designation from iPEC Coaching in March 2022. Kevin also earned the Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) certification from iPEC Coaching in February 2022. Furthermore, Kevin became an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) in September 2022 and obtained the ICF Member Badge from the ICF in March 2022.
