Cody McKinley

Vice President; State And National Relations at National Pork Producers Council

Cody McKinley has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pork industry. Cody started their career at the Iowa Pork Producers Association in 2008, where they served as a Producer Outreach Director until 2010. Cody then transitioned to the role of Public Policy Director, holding that position until 2015. In 2015, they joined the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) as the Director of State and National Relations. In this role, they served as the primary point of contact for state pork organizations, coordinating and supporting NPPC staff interactions with these organizations. Cody also facilitated internal organizational development activities and executed producer interface at the World Pork Expo. In 2019, they were promoted to Assistant Vice President of State and National Relations at NPPC, where they continued to support and coordinate with state pork organizations, plan and execute executive meetings, and contribute to various committees. In 2022, Cody McKinley further advanced their career at NPPC, taking on the role of Vice President of State and National Relations. In this capacity, they expanded their responsibilities by serving as the primary contact with other agricultural organizations regarding state issues, supporting the professional development of state and national pork organizations, and assisting state pork organizations with programming as needed.

Cody McKinley attended Iowa State University from 2003 to 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business.
