Helena Cuss

Helena Cuss is an experienced art professional currently serving as an AHRC Techne PhD Student at Kingston University since October 2019, focusing on the research topic "Refugee Art Dealers in London 1933-1960: New Artists, Networks and Approaches." In addition to academic pursuits, Helena has held various roles including Assistant Curator and Curatorial Assistant at the National Portrait Gallery since May 2016, Architecture Programme Administrator at the Royal Academy of Arts from February 2015 to April 2016, and Studio Manager at Boundary Space from September 2014 to February 2015. Prior experience also includes an Office Administrator position at Sworn & Co. and Curatorial Assistant at the Ben Uri Gallery, contributing to a well-rounded background in the arts sector. Helena holds a Master of Arts in History of Art from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Exeter.
