Sabina Jaskot-Gill

Senior Curator, Photographs at National Portrait Gallery

Sabina Jaskot-Gill is a seasoned photography curator with extensive experience in leading institutions and academia. Currently serving as Senior Curator of Photographs at the National Portrait Gallery since April 2016, Sabina has progressed through various curatorial roles within the organization. Previous experience includes a significant tenure at Tate, where Sabina was awarded an AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Award for research into photography as art, alongside organizing an international seminar on post-war Central and East European photography. Additional roles include lecturing in MA Photography at Sotheby's Institute of Art and assisting at Autograph ABP in the development of photography exhibits. Sabina holds a PhD in the History of Photography from the University of Essex and has degrees in Photography and English Literature and History of Art from prominent institutions.
