David Poythress

David Poythress is an experienced sales and service professional in the power generation industry, currently serving as an Inside Sales Engineer at National Power Corporation since January 2020. Prior roles include Director of Service Sales at Atlantic Switch and Generator and Sales Project Manager/Outside Service Sales at Kohler IDC, focusing on all sales functions and customer relations. David has a strong background in operations management, having managed P&L and service teams while at Generac Power Systems IDC, along with experience as Service Manager and Lead Service Tech at PowerTech Services. Educationally, David is trained as an Electrical Equipment Repair Specialist through the US Marine Corps and holds a trade degree in Power Generations along with HVAC training from Lincoln Tech.
