Carla Marrinan Funder is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the museum and arts sector. Since May 2010, Carla has served as the CEO of the National Print Museum, having previously held the role of Manager. Carla was actively involved in the Irish Museums Association from 2008 to 2019, first as an Administrator and later as a Vice Chair and member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, Carla contributed to the National Gallery of Ireland as a Tour Guide and Tours Booking Coordinator from 2006 to 2010, and worked as an Administrator at the Original Print Gallery in 2005-2006. Carla holds a BA in History of Art & Architecture and Spanish from Trinity College Dublin and an MA in Cultural Policy and Arts Management from University College Dublin.

National Print Museum
The National Print Museum is a unique museum - the only one of its kind in Ireland. The collection is made up largely of letterpress printing equipment. Letterpress is a form of relief printing, which was development by Johannes Gutenberg in 1430. The invention is one of the greatest known to mankind. The collection is not behind glass or rope, but is an example of a working collection. The mission - to promote a greater understand of the historical significance and the contemporary relevance of printing in Ireland by exploring its heritage, craft and technology.
