Maril Olson

Maril Olson serves as the Scholarship Program Manager at the National Propane Gas Association since September 2020, overseeing a $4 million endowed scholarship program for children of member company employees, which includes managing fundraisers, liaising with scholarship committees, and facilitating scholarship fund disbursement. Previously, Maril held the same title at PDK International and managed a $4 million scholarship program for aspiring educators, enhancing application processes and engaging volunteer reviewers. As Interim Executive Director for Families Fighting Flu, Maril managed operations and fundraising efforts for a nonprofit organization and has extensive experience in early childhood education, advocacy, and community initiatives with various organizations. Maril holds an MSW from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work and a BA in Political Science with Honors from the University of Connecticut.
