Ivelisse Castro has been a dedicated professional in membership outreach since January 2009, holding the position of Membership Outreach Associate at the National PTA, where efforts are focused on growing and retaining members to enhance the organization’s mission of advocating for children. Ivelisse also serves as a National Service Representative, supporting multiple PTA congresses across various states and territories. In addition to this role, Ivelisse has been actively involved with the Miami-Dade County Council PTA/PTSA since 1992, including a leadership role as president from 2006 to 2008, contributing to the service of approximately 59,000 members in Florida's largest PTA council. Ivelisse holds an M.S. in International Development Education from Florida International University and a Licentiate degree in Spanish Language Teacher Education from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra.
