Kisha DeSandies Lester has a diverse work experience spanning various communication and management roles. Kisha has held positions in organizations such as National PTA, National Association of Home Builders, APPA - Leadership in Educational Facilities, Xtria LLC, EEI Communications, Presidential Classroom, Strategic Communications Group, WJAL TV, Public Opinion Newspaper, and Congressional Quarterly. Kisha'sroles have included directing strategic communications, overseeing editorial and digital content, managing web content, coordinating events, managing publications, and serving as a field reporter and intern. Kisha has expertise in communications, marketing, public relations, branding, editing, and project management.
Kisha DeSandies Lester graduated from Hampton University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media/Print Journalism. Kisha has also obtained several certifications, including "Strategic Focus for Managers," "Be the Manager People Won't Leave," "How to Be More Strategic in Six Steps," "Digital Accessibility for the Modern Workplace," and "Diversity and Inclusion in Marketing: Inclusive Language for Marketers." These certifications were acquired from LinkedIn, with the most recent being obtained in May 2023.
