Luis Alvarado is a proactive professional with diverse experience in program coordination and community outreach. Currently serving as a Programs Specialist at the National PTA since March 2023, Luis oversees program development for grant cycles, provides training to participants, and ensures excellent customer service for PTA leaders across ten states. Prior experience includes managing the Citizenship Preparation Program at the Central American Resource Center, coordinating activities focused on youth engagement and immigration advocacy, and enhancing family engagement at Edu-Futuro. Additionally, Luis has held roles at Mary's Center where responsibilities included assessing family needs and managing individual success plans. Luis holds a degree in International Studies from Towson University, earned between 2012 and 2017.
