Safety and Certification Team

The Safety and Certification Team at the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism in parks and recreational facilities. This team develops and administers certification programs, including the Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) certification, and conducts training courses on playground maintenance and safety. Through their efforts, they help park and recreation professionals maintain safe environments for the public, reduce risk, and promote best practices in the field.
