Abdul Hamid Oubeisi

Mr. Abdul Hamid Oubeisi is a senior executive in healthcare with more than 15 years of international experience across different verticals of the healthcare value chain including healthcare management, project development, operations, business development and finance. He joined National Reference Laboratory as Strategy and Business Development Director in 2011 and was promoted to CEO early 2013. As CEO at NRL, Mr. Oubeisi provides strategic direction and leadership, while overseeing the growth, operations and financial performance of the company. Prior to joining NRL, Mr. Oubeisi played a key role in founding and leading several high profile and successful healthcare ventures in the MENA region. Between 2007 and 2010 Mr. Oubeisi worked as Director of Business Development & Consultancy Projects for Dubai Healthcare City in partnership and association with Partners Harvard Medical International and Harvard Medical School, Dubai Center. Between May 2008 and April 2009 he was seconded to work as Project Leader - Director of Operations and Finance for the Boston University Institute for Dental Research and Education in Dubai. He served as Regional Business Development Manager for the MENA region for Vernon Carus between 2006 and 2007 and for Smiths Medical between 2000 and 2005.

After graduating in Business Administration in 1999, Mr. Oubeisi attended several industry-specific academic programs with various institutes and universities such as London Business School, Harvard Medical School, Harvard Medical International and Duke University. In addition, he participated and attended several international commercial healthcare conferences and events. Mr. Oubeisi is an advocate of healthcare quality standards and best patient care.
