James Davis Ed.d

James Davis Ed.D, RN, EMTP, currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for both the Metropolitan Area EMS Authority and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Since October 2018, James has held the position of Fire Chief for the City of Fort Worth, following a long tenure with the City of Columbus where roles included Assistant Fire Chief and Fire Battalion Chief. James also contributed to the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire, and Transportation Services as a Board Member, overseeing training and discipline for Ohio's EMS and fire services. With extensive experience in emergency medical services, including flight nursing and emergency department nursing, James holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business in Operational Excellence.
