Thomas Madzivhe is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in regulatory and operational management. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at the National Regulator for Compulsory Specification since October 2009, Thomas has held various leadership roles, including General Manager. Additionally, Thomas contributed as a Board Member for the National Laboratory Association South Africa from June 2015 to March 2021. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Manager at the South African Bureau of Standards from January 2005 to September 2008. Thomas holds a Masters of Management in Public and Development Management from Wits University, an Executive Development Program from SBL UNISA, and completed a short course on Regulation at the London School of Economics. Thomas also possesses a National Diploma and Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Health from TUT.
