Mayukh Datta

Mayukh D. is an experienced professional in energy policy and environmental science, currently serving as an Energy Equity and Projects Graduate Intern at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since October 2022, focusing on various energy equity initiatives. Mayukh has also been a Graduate Research Assistant at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, investigating the deployment of distributed energy resources by rural electric cooperatives. As the Director of Programming for Feeding the Future Mississippi, Mayukh addresses food insecurity through educational programs. Additional roles include Board Member at EEECHO, Clean Heating and Cooling Intern at NYSERDA, and work with RMI and JoeyJamesLaw in electrification and environmental modeling. An accomplished academic, Mayukh holds a Master's degree in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University, where Mayukh was involved in various research initiatives and leadership activities.
