Mary Kate Thayer

Mary Kate Thayer has a diverse work experience in various industries. Mary Kate currently serves as the Director of Industry Partnerships at the National Restaurant Association, where they began in January 2022. Previously, from 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Manager of Development and Industry Relations at the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.

Prior to their role at the NRAEF, Mary Kate held multiple positions at the Washington Nationals baseball team from 2011 to 2018. Mary Kate started as an Inside Sales representative and later became an Account Executive for Membership Services. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as an Account Executive for Premium Client Services.

Mary Kate began their career in the sports industry as a Box Office Intern for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs Baseball Club in 2009. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Corporate Sales Intern at James Madison University Athletics from 2008 to 2009.
