Mandie W. has extensive experience in crisis intervention and advocacy, currently serving as a Medical Advocate for Rape Victim Advocates, providing support to survivors of sexual violence in emergency settings since October 2016. In addition, Mandie is involved with the National Runaway Safeline as a Liner, offering emotional support to at-risk youth. A long-standing commitment to crisis services is evident through various roles at Samaritans Inc., including Homeleader and Crisis Services Overnight Coordinator, where Mandie supports volunteers and responds to individuals in crisis. Mandie previously worked as a Health Coach at Brigham and Women's Hospital, focusing on behavioral changes for better health outcomes. With a Doctor of Medicine degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with minors in Law, Policy & Society and Psychology from Northeastern University, Mandie combines educational expertise with practical experience in social justice and health care advocacy.
