Sharmila Kraft serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services at the National School District since June 2018, following a tenure as Executive Director of Curriculum & Instruction for grades TK-5 at Vista Unified School District from August 2014 to June 2018. Sharmila holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of the Pacific, completed in 2005, and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University, which was pursued from January 2000 to September 2001. Additionally, Sharmila holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earned in 1992.
