Alison Perez, PhD, is a seasoned professional in technology investment and research management. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Manager and Portfolio Manager at Lockheed Martin Ventures since January 2021, Alison monitors emerging technology trends and manages the integration of new private ventures into the corporation. Additionally, as a proposal reviewer for the National Science Foundation since October 2022, Alison contributes feedback to enhance innovation and economic development in the U.S. Previously, Alison has held various roles at Lockheed Martin, including Technical Assistant to the Vice President of Technology Strategy and Research, and Senior Research Scientist, focusing on human systems integration and performance augmentation. Alison's academic background includes a PhD in Cognition and Neuroscience and a Master’s in Applied Cognitive Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas, along with a Bachelor's in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina.
