Elaine Blomeyer has extensive experience in education and technology, currently serving as a Computer Science and Math Teacher at the Los Angeles Unified School District since August 2014. Previously, Elaine held the position of Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow at the National Science Foundation for the 2013-2014 academic year and taught Computer Science at the Los Angeles Unified School District from 2007 to 2013. Elaine's technical background includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at ICx Technologies and Motorola Solutions, as well as experience as a Database Designer at Encompass and a Member of the Technical Staff at Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Elaine holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Southern California, obtained between 1969 and 1976, after completing education at John Muir High School.
