Marquita M. Qualls

National Instructor I-corps Teams Program at National Science Foundation

Marquita M. Qualls, PhD, is the founder and principal of Entropia Consulting, a position held since February 2009. Qualls serves as a National Instructor for the I-Corps Teams Program at the National Science Foundation since March 2021 and was the Executive Director of Entrepreneurship Programs at The National GEM Consortium from February 2020 to April 2021. Previous roles include Executive Coach for Leadership Effectiveness at Zenger Folkman and Entrepreneur in Residence at Innovate Mississippi. Qualls has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked at GlaxoSmithKline in various capacities from 2001 to 2009. Additionally, Qualls served as National President of NOBCChE between July 2003 and June 2005. Educational credentials include a PhD in Chemistry from Purdue University, a B.S. in Chemistry from Tennessee State University, and a certificate in Entrepreneurship Education from Babson College.
