Rebecca Morss currently serves as Program Director in the Office of Integrative Activities at the National Science Foundation since May 2023. Morss has extensive experience at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), where involvement spans multiple leadership roles including Founder and Team Lead of the Weather Risks and Decisions in Society Group, Deputy Director and Interim Director of the Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology Laboratory, and Senior Scientist. Additionally, Morss co-chaired the NCAR Strategic Plan Steering Committee and co-authored the NCAR 2020-2024 Strategic Plan. At the University of Colorado Boulder, Morss has been a Faculty Affiliate in the Department of Environmental Studies since 2008. Morss holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago.
