Jan Eberhardt

Jan Eberhardt is an experienced educator and consultant with a strong background in science education and professional development. Since June 2016, Eberhardt has served as a Co-Author for the National Science Teachers Association, contributing to a series of books focused on Problem-Based Learning in the classroom. Eberhardt also held roles as an On-Call Consultant and as Project Lead for STEM Professional Development at the Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative and Michigan Virtual University, respectively, providing technical assistance and designing online courses from 2012 to 2014. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant to the Chair in the Department of Geological Sciences in 2011 and as Assistant Director at Michigan State University from 2000 to 2011, where Eberhardt managed various administrative functions and fostered collaborative efforts across institutions. Eberhardt holds a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Biology from Murray State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Earlham College.
