Stephen Metz has been serving as the Editor of The Science Teacher at NSTA since July 2004. With a diverse educational background including a BS in Biology from Trinity College-Hartford and an M.A. in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Boston University, as well as an M.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Stephen has a strong foundation in science education. Currently, Stephen also holds the position of Science Department Chair at The Governor's Academy since June 2013.
