Tricia Shelton

Tricia Shelton serves as the Chief Learning Officer at the National Science Teaching Association since March 2021, following a progression of roles within the organization that began in July 2017 as the NSTA Director of Professional Learning and Standards Implementation. Prior to this, Tricia Shelton worked as a Standards Implementation Specialist. Tricia Shelton's educational career includes 20 years as a Secondary Science Teacher at Boone County Schools, where also served as Department Head for 12 years, and a teaching position at Newport Independent Schools. Tricia Shelton holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching from Northern Kentucky University.
