Henk Rogers

Henk Rogers is a distinguished entrepreneur and innovator, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Planet Energy Systems, a company focused on developing energy storage solutions to transition away from carbon fuels. As the Founder and Director of the International MoonBase Alliance, Henk is engaged in building lunar habitation prototypes in Hawaii. Henk has also held various leadership roles including a Board Member at the National Space Society, Director at the American Renewable Energy Institute, Founder of Blue Startups, and Director of the Pacific International Space Center for Exploration Systems. Henk's commitment to renewable energy is further exemplified through the Blue Planet Foundation, which aims to eliminate carbon-based fuels in Hawaii and the U.S. Henk founded Avatar Reality and Blue Planet Software, Inc., managing the gaming classic TETRIS and overseeing its development and licensing. Henk received an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and has an extensive educational background from the same institution and Stuyvesant High School.
