Brown McFadden

Brown McFadden has an extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Brown started their career as a Design Engineer III at Duke Power in 1976 and worked there until 1981. Brown then joined Winthrop University as an Assistant Director and Systems Engineer ACS from 1981 to 1990. After that, they worked at PCS Phosphate as a Superintendent of Information Systems from 1990 to 2001. At Beaufort County Community College, they served as a Network Administrator from 2001 to 2013, where they managed various network systems and received certification as CG-CIO from UNC School of Government in 2011. Brown later worked at Blue Ridge Community College as a Systems Administrator from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Genova Diagnostics as a Manager of Infrastructure. Brown is currently working at National Spinning Co., Inc. (USA) as a Senior Systems Admin (Infrastructure) starting from 2016.

Brown McFadden earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clemson University, where they studied from 1972 to 1976. Brown later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration at Winthrop University from 1986 to 1988. In 2011, they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to achieve certification as a Certified Government CIO (CG-CIO). Additionally, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson University College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences, although the specific dates for this program were not provided.
