Rhia Tiffany Upshaw Cdip, Ccs, Ccs-P

Tiffany Upshaw has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Tiffany started as a Medical Coding Auditor at SAIC in 2008 and worked there until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Medical Coder at Phoenix Services Group. In 2013, they joined Swedish Covenant Medical Group as a Coding Auditor. Tiffany then worked as an Account Manager for Coding Services at Professional Dynamic Network, Inc. from 2014 to 2016. In the same year, they also started working as a Coding Auditor at R1RCM. In 2016, they joined National Staffing Solutions as an Interim Medical Records Director, where they specialized in restructuring hospital-based medical records departments and managing staff. Finally, since January 2020, Tiffany has been working as a HIM's Consultant at Integrity HIM & Coding Compliance Consultants.

Tiffany Upshaw, RHIA, CDIP, CCS, CCS-P attended Western Governors University from 2013 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator. In addition, they obtained several certifications from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). In 2013, they became a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), and in 2004, they obtained the Certified Coding Specialist - Physician Based (CCS-P) certification. Most recently, in March 2022, they obtained the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) certifications from AHIMA.
