David Burke has extensive experience in the medical device and quality assurance sectors, currently serving as a Medical Device Certification and Inspection Officer at the National Standards Authority of Ireland since July 2019. Prior roles at Boston Scientific included positions as a Design Assurance Engineer and Quality Technician, focusing on equipment validation and new product development. Earlier experience includes a Quality Analyst role at Connaught Electronics Ltd and teaching secondary school subjects such as Biology and Mathematics. Educational qualifications encompass a Postgraduate Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Galway, a Higher Diploma in Quality Assurance, and a BSc Hons in Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science from the National University of Ireland Maynooth. David is also certified as an ISO internal auditor and a Lead Quality Auditor by IRCA.
