Jennifer Tran

Jennifer Tran currently serves as a S-BYE Lab Research Assistant at Teachers College, Columbia University, beginning September 2024. In addition to this role, Jennifer has held multiple significant positions at the Associated Students of the University of California, including Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff for the Office of Academic Affairs since August 2022. Jennifer is also a Co-Founder and Board Advisor for the National Student Board Member Association. Previous experience includes an internship with the California State Senate, a Policy Research Intern role at the National Center on Education and the Economy, and serving as a Travers Fellow at The Commonwealth Club of California. Jennifer was the Chief Policy and Legislative Director at GENup, a Student Board Member at Garden Grove Unified School District, and a National Student Council member for GLSEN. Academic achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Education Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a High School Diploma from Bolsa Grande High School.
