Brian Prescott is the current Director at National Student Clearinghouse. Brian was previously the Associate Registrar for Student Support Services at The George Washington University from September 2006 to January 2018. In this role, they administered the university-wide registration process for 25,000+ students three times per year, including collaboration with school officials and technical set-up of eligible populations, self-service access, and course add/drop codes. Brian also worked closely with Advising Directors and Assistant Deans to resolve student records issues and ensured that university officials from all departments understand and appropriately apply university policy. Brian Prescott supervised and coordinated the work of 10 staff members in the Student Information Services and Records & Registration teams, providing leadership, establishing work priorities, and ensuring that their work meets quality standards. Brian also provided departmental oversight of the release of student-related information such as academic transcripts and enrollment verifications to students, parents, and third parties in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Brian Prescott developed, recommended, and implemented processes, procedures, and systems to maintain the registration and records-certification services.
