Melba Amissi has a diverse work experience in various leadership positions. Starting in 2005, they held the role of Chief Strategy Officer and later became the Chief Operating Officer at Intersections Inc., a FinTech company. Melba demonstrated strong strategic and operational skills, leading to cost savings and product portfolio expansion. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Legal & Business Affairs and Senior Director of Contract Management, where they managed multi-million dollar negotiations and implemented compliance frameworks. Additionally, Melba has experience as the Chief Administrative Officer, SVP & Chief Risk Officer, and as the Managing Director, Strategy, Delivery, and Corporate Marketing. Melba also served as a Guest Lecturer at Northwestern University. Currently, Melba is working at Habits at Work as Chief Operating Officer, where they have played a crucial role in the company's growth by developing a strategic plan, expanding the client base, and achieving profitability. Melba has also been involved in community work as an Advisory Board Member for Live Big Community.

Melba Amissi completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business between 2019 and 2021. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Randolph Macon Women's College. Melba has also obtained several certifications including SAFe Agilist Certification 6.0 from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2023, Certified Business Resilience Manager and Certified Business Resilience IT Professional from BRCCI in 2017, and The Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US) from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2016.
