Umesh Kulkarni

Umesh Kulkarni has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Umesh most recently served as the Director of Software Development at National Student Clearinghouse since September 2017. Prior to that, they worked at K12 as a Senior Manager, leading software services and agile teams from June 2016 to July 2017. Umesh also held the position of Agile Program Manager at Trimble for ten years, where they managed a globally dispersed team and provided guidance on project portfolios and resource planning. Umesh has previous experience as a Senior Project Manager at Apex Covantage Inc., where they successfully delivered complex IT projects, and as a Technical Architect at i2 Technologies Inc., where they provided leadership in the development of enterprise solutions. Umesh began their career as a Consultant at Metasystems, Inc.

Umesh Kulkarni obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Manufacturing Management and Info Systems from The University of Toledo during the years 1994 to 1996. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) from BMGI in 2015, PMP from the Project Management Institute in April 2011, and Scrum Master Certified from Scrum Studies.
