Alexis Ross

Alexis Ross is a Registered Nurse at UNC Health, beginning in August 2024. Prior to this role, Alexis served as President and Secretary of the North Carolina Central University Student Nurses' Association from August 2022 to May 2024. In addition, Alexis contributed to the National Student Nurses' Association as a member of the Resolution's Committee and held the position of Director At Large for the North Carolina Association of Nursing Students from May 2023 to April 2024. An undergraduate research fellowship at UC Irvine occurred between June 2023 and August 2023, while a UX Designer role was completed at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services from March 2023 to June 2023, focusing on website design for the Women, Infant, Children, and Wellness Section. Prior experience includes leading a Hypertension Ambassador Team at Lincoln Community Health Center from January 2023 to March 2023, performing outreach for patient engagement. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Carolina Central University and an Associate of Arts from Wake Technical Community College.
