Genevieve Chieffi

Vice President at National Student Nurses' Association

Genevieve Chieffi's work experience includes various roles in healthcare and leadership positions in nursing organizations. Genevieve started their career as a Red Cross Lifeguard for the Town of Darien in 2019 and then worked as a Support Staff for Darien Summer School in 2018. In 2021, they became an Undergraduate Representative for the National Student Nurses' Association. Genevieve has also held multiple nursing roles, including Student Nurse positions at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital, Palmetto General Hospital, Nicklaus Children's Hospital Foundation, and the University of Miami Hospital. Genevieve served as a Clinical Nurse Assistant at Stamford Health in 2023. During their time with the National Student Nurses' Association, they held the positions of Public Relations Chair and Upperclassmen Representative, as well as Vice President.

Genevieve Chieffi pursued their education chronologically by attending Darien High School from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained their High School Diploma. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of Miami in 2020 and is expected to complete their studies in 2024. Genevieve is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Genevieve also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the medical field. In December 2020, they obtained the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate (Additional Specialties) from the American Red Cross. In May 2022, they obtained the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Lastly, in April 2023, they acquired the Stop The Bleed certification from the American College of Surgeons.
