Omar Alrasbi

Omar Alrasbi has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Omar started their career in 2005 as a Liaison Officer in the United States of America, where they facilitated training programs and gained skills in effective multicultural communication. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Project Management and Accounting Officer in the Ministry of Defense, honing their planning, optimization, supply chain, scheduling, and productivity analysis skills. Omar also led a team of up to 120 employees, demonstrating strong leadership abilities. From 2010 to 2014, Omar served as a Project Management and Administration Officer, overseeing medium-sized projects with a combined budget of $20M. In 2016, they became a Senior Project Management and Administration Officer, where they developed strategic business plans and estimated future facility needs. In 2018, Omar founded Sustainable Development Enterprise, a niche consultancy company specializing in financial consultancy. Omar then held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Tasneea Oil and Gas Technology, where they worked on propelling the company in the energy and industrial market. In 2020, they served as the Chief Development Officer at Mubbadrah Investment and later became the Chief Executive Officer at the National Technology Group (NTG).

Omar Alrasbi's education history is as follows:

From 2017 to 2022, Omar attended Arizona State University and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Civil, Environment and Sustainability Engineering.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they also attended Arizona State University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, and International Business. During this time, they also earned a Master's Degree in Construction Engineering.

In addition, from 2014 to 2016, Omar received several Certificates from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. These certificates were in the fields of International Business, Leadership, Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, and Sustainability.

Before their time at Arizona State University, Omar studied at Mazoon University College in Association with Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Furthermore, Omar has completed various military-related courses. In 2012, they obtained a Certificate in Junior Joint Operations Course from the Ministry of Defense. Omar also received Certificates in Safety and Basic Joint Operations from the Ministry of Defense in 2009.

Prior to their higher education, Omar attended the Sultan Qaboos Air Academy from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Diploma in Military Science and Operational Studies.

Lastly, in 2001, they completed their high school education at Seeb High School, specializing in Science. In the same year, they also obtained a Certificate in Military Applied Sciences from the Armed Forces of Oman Preparatory School.
