Federal Program Officer (state Broadband Leader—mississippi) at National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA)

Ty James is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and legal fields. Currently serving as a Federal Program Officer at the U.S. Department of Commerce's NTIA, Ty focuses on closing the digital divide in Mississippi through the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) and Digital Equity (DE) grant programs. Previous roles include Chief Policy Advisor at the Mississippi Public Service Commission and Legislative Assistant & Communications Director at the U.S. House of Representatives.
