Chris Murphy

Chris Murphy has a diverse work experience in the field of development and fundraising. They started their career at Richmond Associates in 2006 as a consultant, then joined the National Theatre in 2009 as the Individual Giving Manager and Head of Memberships. In 2012, they moved to Birkbeck, University of London, where they served as the Head of Development and Alumni and later became the Director of Development and Alumni. Chris returned to the National Theatre in 2019, initially as the Director of Development (mat cover), then as the Director of Development, and currently holds the position of Strategy Lead and Director of Development.

Chris Murphy has a Master's Degree in Sport Management and the Business of Football, which they obtained from Birkbeck, University of London from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended The University of Manchester from 2001 to 2005 and completed a BA Joint Hons degree in French and German.
