Kat Kourbeti is an experienced podcast editor at Strange Horizons since October 2020, producing audio readings of speculative fiction stories. As a columnist for the British Science Fiction Association since April 2024, Kourbeti writes the "Infinite Possibilities" column focusing on speculative and science-fiction theatre. Kourbeti has organized for Spectrum Writers London, a prominent critique group for science fiction and fantasy writers, since May 2018. In addition to freelancing as a podcast producer and host for Pod People, Kourbeti has held various roles in theatre, including as a Box Office Sales Assistant at the National Theatre and a Stage Door Keeper at the Barbican Centre. Kourbeti's background includes film programming and events coordination at Deptford Cinema and experience as a blogger and content creator with Cinescapist TV, as well as writing for Flickering Myth, where Kourbeti covered film festivals. Kourbeti holds a BA (Hons) in Creative Writing from Brunel University London and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Anatolia College.
