Max Cherry

Max Cherry is an experienced lighting technician currently serving as a Lighting Technician - Grade 4 at the National Theatre since January 2024. Prior to this role, Max held various positions at the Royal Court Theatre, including Deputy Head of Lighting and Lighting Technician from November 2021 to January 2024. Additionally, Max worked as an IMS Call Handler for NHS South, Central and West between January 2021 and November 2021. Previous experience includes technical roles at the Royal Court Theatre, Pleasance Theatre Trust, and Zoonation, along with a background in design management at Oasis Enterprises. Max holds a BA in Theatre Practice with a focus on Production Lighting from Central School of Speech and Drama and a BTEC National Diploma in Technical Theatre & Events Management from Southampton City College.
